With the scalable and made to measure Hydraloop Cascade system, you can recycle up to 45% of in-house water. A Hydraloop Cascade can treat and redistribute Hydraloop resuable water from shower, bath, hand basins, and optionally washing machine (only with optional inlet diverter valve) as well as condensation water from tumble dryer, heat pump, and air conditioning. Due to its innovative and breakthrough technology, Hydraloop resuable water is clean, clear, safe and certified. You can reuse it for toilet flushing, washing machine, garden irrigation and/or swimming pool top-up. The maintenance requirements and corresponding costs are very low.

The Hydraloop Cascade can be assembled by configuring two or more Hydraloop devices in any cascade arrangement. Depending on the building and the application, one central location can be chosen in the building for one cascade configuration. Or several locations with 2 or more compact cascade configurations.

Each Hydraloop device in the cascade set up works independently in the cleaning process. The treated and disinfected reusable water is stored in one volume which is formed by the interconnected individual water storage tanks of the Hydraloop devices. Treatment and storage tanks form one integral cluster. A powerful booster pump redistributes the reuseable water in the building to be used for toilet flushing and garden irrigation. In case of a temporary shortage of reusable water, the system automatically switches to its backup water source like tap water or rainwater.

An online information system is available for real-time status information and performance.

  • Greywater from shower, bath, hand basins, and optionally washing machine (only with inlet diverter valve)
  • Condensation water from tumble dryer, heat pump, and air conditioning
  • Hydraloop Cascade cannot collect greywater from the washing machine.

1 outlet for reusable water for each Hydraloop cluster for toilet flushing and irrigation.

Treatment capacity

Scalable from 1060 liters | 280 gallons per day up to 10,600 liters | 2800 gallons per cluster

Multiple Hydraloop Cascade clusters can be installed

100 | 240 Volt, 24 Volt internal

The Hydraloop device needs to be connected with an internal internet connected (wifi) network

Noise Level

Depending on the size of the installation

Input connections

Main greywater inlet into the top of the Hydraloop device: 40 mm| 1 ½” OD

  • Bring all greywater sources into one dedicated line.

  • Please ensure all greywater lines are separated from black water.

  • If the greywater input is on a higher floor than the Hydraloop device, gravity will direct the flow.

  • In other circumstances, install a lift pump.

Greywater inlet to the Hydraloop device from

Tumble dryer

Air conditioning

Heat pump

Optional: Washing machine (only with inlet diverter)

You can connect only one (1) washing machine per Hydraloop device

Power/Network connections

Permanent WiFi internet connection:
Bandwidth of 2.4GHz or 5 GHz
Ethernet & Bluetooth (v 2.0)

Power supply: 100-120V (60Hz) or 200-240V
Outlet to be within 1.2 m of device

Backup water inlet
Tap water or other: 15 mm | ½” MNPT – flow of 12 LPM| 3.2 USGPM
If the flow rate is higher than 12LPM| 3.2 USGPM, floater cap and flow regulator.
If you use a rainwater pump, install an expansion vessel and 50-micron mesh pre-filter.

Output connections

Wastewater outlet
Connection to sewer: 40 mm| 1 ½” OD (min. of 50 mm| 2”) with rubber sleeve
Wastewater from the Hydraloop device to sewer (gravity) operates on a timer for wastewater release every 7 days

Toilet flushing (pressurized):

15 mm | ½” MNPT

Washing machine (pressurized):

15 mm | ½” MNPT

Auxiliary outlet (non-pressurized):

15 mm | ½” MNPT
